At a recent vision gathering Bethany Church Manchester announced a three-year plan in the area of youth development. The plan is to be rolled out in three phases and will involve volunteers from Bethany with a passion for limitless youth work. Our project has been designed to rejuvenate youth provision here at Bethany.  It will focus on inward development of existing youth work. It will further look out in the form of schools work initiatives, operating out of a purpose built ‘limitless youth’ facility with office space. The various phases look like this.

Will involve 10 weeks of intensive training delivered by Craig Brotherston of Elim youth division ‘LIMITLESS’. We will also be working with Craig to develop youth offices and a designated ‘limitless youth’ space here at Bethany.

In October our volunteer trainees will be joined by two college placement students from Nazarene Bible College in Didsbury who will be based at Bethany for three years. They will undertake thirteen hours of youth and community engagement serving us here at Bethany.  The students will develop links with local schools, and work supporting existing youth engagement programs here at Bethany. They will also develop links with youth in Gatley and promote our youth facility

In January 2018 the groundwork will be laid for the induction of four youth apprentices who will be joining us from PAIS UK.  This team will be headed up by Simon Geibendorfer. The team will be based at Bethany full time for eighteen months and will be involved with our ‘limitless youth’ senior kid’s church.  They will also develop links with Kingsway school in Gatley including workshops and assemblies.

With a clear need for youth provision in Gatley we are excited to be in a place where we can prove the LIMITLESS abilities of our amazing God.
