The Lord is Our Supply – Trusting in God’s Provision
One of the most powerful lessons from Luke 21:1-4 is the widow’s total trust in God. She gave everything she had, believing that He would provide for her needs. Her faith was so remarkable that Jesus stopped to highlight her example.
Trusting God with our finances isn’t easy, especially in uncertain times. Yet, throughout scripture, we see that God rewards faithfulness. Malachi 3:10 invites us to “test” God by bringing our tithes and offerings, promising that He will open the floodgates of heaven and provide abundantly.
In my own life, I’ve seen this principle in action. God has consistently provided for every bill, need, and emergency. He has shown me time and time again that He is our supply. When we prioritise Him, He takes care of the rest.
The challenge for us today is this: Do we truly believe that God will provide? Are we willing to give sacrificially, trusting Him with our future?
If we want to live all for the Lord, we must start by trusting Him with everything—including our finances. When we do, we will experience His provision and faithfulness in ways we never imagined.
