Envisioned: Seeing Beyond Our Capacity
Finally, God calls us to envision dreams that stretch beyond our own capacities. In Amos 9:14-15, we see an audacious promise:
“I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted…”
To the Israelites in exile, this vision seemed impossible. Their cities were in ruins, their people scattered. Yet God’s plans are never confined by human limitations. He invites us to dream big, to see beyond what we can achieve on our own.
In 2025, what vision is God placing in your heart? Perhaps it’s for your family, your church, or your career. Like Nehemiah rebuilding Jerusalem or a child learning to play an instrument, God’s dreams often start small but grow into something extraordinary when nurtured with faith and action.
For me, the vision for our church is one of growth, vibrancy, and impact. I dream of a church alive with God’s presence, filled with disciples who passionately serve Him. It’s a vision of boldness, unity, and mission – a vision far beyond my own abilities, but perfectly aligned with God’s power.
Let’s spend this year seeking a vision from the God that challenges and inspires us. Through prayer, consecration, and faithful steps, we can embrace dreams that honour Him and transform our world. 2025 is a year for restored faith, planted seeds, and a vision that stretches into eternity.
