The history of Bethany Church in Gatley, Manchester dates back to the 1970s when a group of Christian believers began meeting in, firstly a local house and then the ymca building on Church Road. This group eventually became known as the Gatley Christian Fellowship, and in 1980 they built a larger church building on the same site.
